Organizations We Support

MASSACHUSETTS JUNIOR CONSERVATION CAMP

This two week overnight one time attendance summer camp for girls and boys 13 -17 years of age offers a program of conservation education and instruction in outdoor recreation skills. It introduces youth to the ethical concepts and knowledge essential to a lifetime of properly enjoying our natural resources and the leisure activities that depend on their careful stewardship.

In 2025 the MBA purchased and donated 3 full archery sets including bows, arrows, and quivers to be used by campers in attendance.

MASSACHUSETTS WONDERFUND PROJECT

The Wonderfund help kids be kids. Catching a fly ball, painting a beautiful picture, passing your driver’s test, these are the moments that all kids deserve. The Wonderfund gives kids and teens served by DCF the opportunity to enjoy childhood’s magical moments.

The MBA is spending $500 to sponsor three brothers this Christmas season to ensure that they have a magical Christmas.

MASS F&W HUNT TO SHARE THE HARVEST

This program provides the opportunity for hunters to donate and share venison with those in need, while supporting forest conservation by utilizing hunting for population management. Licensed hunters play an important role in wildlife management in Massachusetts, and now successful hunters can help combat hunger and food insecurity in their communities by donating venison.

The MBA donated $500 this year to this program in support of their mission.

GREEN MOUNTAIN CONSERVATION CAMP

Green Mountain Conservation Camp works to educate youth ages 12 – 16 about Vermont’s wild habitats to inspire meaningful relationships with the environment and foster genuine connections with their peers.  GMCC offers hands-on learning experiences about fish, wildlife, ecology, botany, forestry, hunter firearm safety, outdoor first aid, and so much more. Campers have a unique opportunity to meet Vermont State Game Wardens, foresters, fisheries and wildlife biologists, and others who work in the outdoors.

The MBA sponsored a young lady to attend camp in 2025 and is sponsoring a second in 2026! The girls graduate with their Hunter’s Education certificate
