On Tuesday, November 10th, the Joint Committee on Environment, Natural Resources and Agriculture will hold a hearing at the MassWildlife Field Headquarters, located at 1 Rabbit Hill Road in Westboro, MA. Among topics expected to be discussed will be bills specific to Sunday Bow hunting (Senate 415 and other hunting legislation (Senate 414, Senate 424).
The hearing will start at 1:00 PM and is open to the public. This is a great opportunity for bow hunters to attend one of these hearings without the need to travel to Boston and deal with traffic, parking, and tolls. Attendees can have the opportunity to testify specific to bills. If you intend to do so, call MBA Vice President, Ken Brown at 978-204-6329 for supporting information or ideas.
It is important that the voice of the bow hunting community be heard to counter the expected concerns that will be expressed by members of the anti-hunting lobby.
